How We Collect Your Personal Data
Your data is collected in connection with your stay at the campsite. We collect personal data in the following ways:
- When you choose to purchase and/or request one of the campsite’s services.
- Via CCTV surveillance.
The collection of personal data and its processing will always be in accordance with applicable laws. The CCTV surveillance is installed as a safety measure for both employees and guests. Surveillance is located at the entrance to the campsite and near the pool area. The CCTV surveillance consists solely of live recordings, which are never stored.

The Data We Collect
We collect the following information:
- Name, address, phone number, nationality, and, if applicable, email address.
- Additionally, we record your purchases of the campsite’s services for the purpose of settling your stay.
For foreign guests, we also record the type of and number of your passport or other travel identification.
You can choose to provide additional information at your discretion that you believe may be relevant to your stay, such as information regarding disabilities or medical conditions. This type of personal data will neither be recorded nor processed.
In addition to receiving information from you, the campsite may, in some cases, supplement our information with data received from third parties, such as a group leader or tour guide. In these cases, the third party is responsible for informing the involved guests about the campsite’s terms and conditions. The third party is also responsible for obtaining any necessary consent forms for the registration and processing of sensitive personal data.
Purpose of the collection:
The collection of your personal data is for one or more of the following purposes:
- Compliance with legal requirements
- Processing of your reservations and purchases of campsite services
- Contacting you before and during your stay
- Sending requested information about the campsite’s services
Your personal data is collected solely for the purposes mentioned above. Your personal data is limited to only what is necessary as described above. We will obtain your consent if your data needs to be used for other purposes.
The Legal Basis for Processing
As a general rule, the processing of your personal data is required by law for the campsite. This is the case, for example, in connection with guest registration at check-in, where the legislation specifies which personal data the campsite is required to register, cf. the Passport Regulation and the Aliens Act. The campsite is also required to report the nationality of overnight guests to Statistics Denmark. Additionally, your personal data is registered and processed for accounting purposes in connection with your purchases of campsite services.

Your data is not transferred to other countries.
Storage and Deletion
Your data is stored on a server located within the EU/EEA. To avoid data loss, the campsite regularly backs up our datasets. Your personal data is deleted when all purposes for the respective registration are no longer necessary. However, information about the contact person for invoice details is retained for five years to comply with applicable accounting legislation. After the five years, the information will be deleted. You may request access to or deletion of your personal data at any time, unless legal requirements make this illegal.
Your rights
According to the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Danish data protection law, you have the following rights:
You have the right to request access to the personal data we process about you.
You have the right to correct and update any inaccurate personal data.
You have the right to have personal data deleted if the campsite is not obligated to retain it.
You have the right to withdraw your consent that forms the basis for processing your personal data, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent prior to the withdrawal.
You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data, and under the EU’s GDPR (2016/679), you can request to receive your personal data so that it can be easily transferred to you or another data controller of your choice.
You have the right to file a complaint about the processing of your personal data. Any inquiries regarding this matter should be sent to the above address.
