Kattegat Strand Camping offers a range of fun and engaging activities for the whole family!
Whether you’re into beach adventures, creative workshops, sports and games, or relaxing with the animals, we have something for everyone.
Join our popular kids’ party, foam party, or jump into the pool for our pool party – the activities are both entertaining and offer the chance to create amazing holiday memories. With us, there’s never a dull day!
In the summer of 2025, we are introducing Camping MGP – a singing and dancing competition for children!

Camping Star - Dance and Singing Contest
Is there a little star hidden in your child? Then our Camping MGP is the perfect activity!
Here, children get the opportunity to sing, dance, and perform just like in the real Melody Grand Prix. Over four fun training sessions, they will practice a song and choreography while having lots of fun, making new friends, and experiencing the feeling of being on a real stage.
In the end, the big show awaits, where they will get to perform in front of an enthusiastic audience of parents, siblings, and camping guests. It will be a festive evening filled with music, lights, dance, and magical moments – an experience they will never forget!
CampJump
Our large trampoline park will keep your kids entertained for hours! CampJump is an outdoor trampoline park with trampolines and a large jumping pillow. An entertaining bouncy universe where imagination and play can run wild. A place all kids and kids at heart will love! NOTE – There will be no staff on the trampolines. This means that parents are responsible for their children on the trampolines.
Football school
Are you ready to score goals and learn new football skills this summer? Our football school is for all children – whether you’re a beginner or already an experienced player! We have both a beginner class (from 5 years old) and a more advanced class, so everyone can participate and develop at their own level.
The football school takes place three times a week during the high season – see exact times in our activity calendar.
No need to register – just show up! Our professional football coach, who has years of experience, makes sure everyone has a fun and educational experience. We also provide all the necessary equipment so you can focus on improving your techniques and games played.
And it’s not just training! There will almost always be a match after training, so you can put your new skills into practice and have a good time with the other participants.

Mooncars
The Mooncar has been a favorite on playgrounds around the world for many years, and for good reason. This fun and colorful vehicle makes even the dull rainy days special and is a hit with the kids – especially at a campsite with roads that are perfect for Mooncar driving.
You can rent mooncars at reception and give your children hours of fun, fresh air and exercise. An ideal choice for anyone who wants to combine play and activity during their camping vacation!
We have 1-person, 2-person and 4-person family mooncars.
Activity hall
Our activity hall is the perfect place to be when the weather is not suitable for outdoor activities. Children and adults alike can enjoy everything from indoor sports activities to group games. The hall is spacious and suitable for both games and fun, making it a popular gathering point at the campsite, whatever the weather!
In the activity hall there is also a playroom for children aged 0-5 years.

Running and cycling routes
The area around Kattegat Strand offers a lot of beautiful nature that we think you should enjoy. We have therefore created running and cycling routes that you are very welcome to use. In addition to the routes we have created for you, you can find several routes that take you all around North Jutland
