Your other home at Kattegat Strand Camping
Another season where you’ll feel right at home while being our guest – you should be able to relax, enjoy yourself, and also expect top-quality facilities.
This applies to both you, the loyal camper returning for another season in our beautiful surroundings, and to you, who are choosing Kattegat Strand Camping for the first time for a full or half season.
As tradition dictates, we offer first-class service facilities, a heated swimming pool, a multi arena, an activity hall, a mini-golf course, playgrounds, a kiosk, lounges with various TV channels, a restaurant, pizzeria, and grill bar, wireless internet on about 80-90% of the site, as well as a wide range of events and activities for children and the young at heart.
In addition, we have the beautiful natural surroundings we’ve been gifted with – including one of Denmark’s most beautiful and family-friendly beaches. The Mediterranean atmosphere in Øster Hurup, with its cafés and small shops, adds to the charm. The lovely harbour environment offers a fish shop and restaurants.

Day Guests
All day guests must check in at the reception before visiting you.
Your guests are very welcome at the campsite. Unfortunately, we have noticed that many guests are unaware of the campsite’s rules, which has led to some confusion about the need to pay for being a guest at a campsite.
It is your responsibility to ensure that your guests remember to check in at the reception before visiting you.
You have the option to purchase guest punch cards (20 or 50 punches) for your day guests (8:00 – 23:00).
Please note, guests are not allowed to bring their car onto the campsite. However, they can purchase a guest car pass for DKK 35 per day.
Your guests can park for free in our parking lot.
Friday Dinner
Kattegat Strand Camping invites all our seasonal guests to join us for Friday dinner.
This is an initiative we started a few years ago, and we’re bringing it back to bring our seasonal guests together.
Every Friday (except for public holidays) from 18:00 to 19:00, we serve Friday dinner in the restaurant.
The Restaurant is open from 18:00 – 20:00
We do this as a way to foster a strong sense of community among our seasonal guests.
Price: DKK 80,- including a beer or a soft drink.
Children under 10 years old: DKK 55,- including a soft drink.
Rules for seasonal campers
You can read the seasonal guest rules on our Practical Information page.
Facebook group
We have a group for seasonal guests on Facebook.
This is where a lot of information will be shared throughout the season. It’s also where you can sign up for Friday dinner and get details about upcoming events.
We encourage all seasonal guests to join the group, but of course, it’s optional.
