If you are going on holiday with your dog Kattegat Strand Camping is a really good choice, because we love your pets! Here, dogs of all shapes, sizes and breeds are warmly welcome.
At the campsite we have a fantastic enclosed dog park. You are allowed to have your dog off-leash in the dog park, as long as you have full control over it. In addition, there are great opportunities to go for walks by the beach and in green areas around the campsite. Dogs must be on leash at all times.
If the fur and paws are dirty from fun, play and tumbling, you can give your dog a shower in the dog shower in service building 2.
Please remember to show respect towards other guests.
Important information and rules:
The daily price for dogs is DKK 20 in the low season, DKK 30,- mid-season and DKK 40 during peak season. (Dogs in family cabins and tipis from DKK 150 to 300)
Dogs must always be kept on a leash.
REMEMBER to pick up your dog’s waste! Dog waste bags are located in 3 places on the site, and they can also be collected free of charge at the reception.
Dogs are not allowed in the pool area, in the service buildings or in the mini zoo.
You are welcome to bring your dog into the restaurant.
Dogs in North Jutland
If you are going on a trip and take your dog with you outside the campsite, the general rules for this apply. On the Norwegian Nature Agency’s website, you can get a refresher on the rules about dogs in the wild. In Rold Skov there is a dog forest where your dog can run freely.
