Activity program
At Kattegat Strand Camping we have fun activities every day during the high season (except Saturday). Join the pool party, foam party, twist bread and our popular football camp. See our weekly calendar here:
Spring, from the 31st of Marts – 24th of June
Here you can see all the fun activities that take place during spring at Kattegat Strand Camping. When you arrive at the site, you are always given the latest program so that you are always up to date on activities and events on the campsite and in the area.

The swimming pool is open every day from 09:00 – 21:00
Swimming and staying in the pool area is at your own risk – there is no lifeguard
the pool area. It is not allowed to feed the animals in the mini zoo.
Minigolf DKK 50,- / person – can be bought at reception (children under 5 free). Mooncars can be rented at the reception for DKK 30/hour. Family mooncar DKK 90/hour. The activity hall is open every day from 10:00-22:00. Rental of SUP board, DKK 200 for 2 hours.
Please note, that changes may occur to the activity program. Cancellation may occur due to bad weather or lack of participants.

Heated Swimmingpool
Exotic vibes, family water park and 26 degree warm water? Doesn’t sound bad, right? When you holiday at Kattegat Strand Camping, you can freely use our outdoor water park with the whole family.
Swimmingpool is open from the middle of May to the end of August (dependent on weather). During the peak season the pool is open from 9:00 – 21:00.
During the lower seasons are we happy to adapt opening times to our guests’ wishes – if you want to go to the pool, we will remove the thermal blanket.
It is free to use the swimming pool when you stay at the campsite.
If you are a guest, you can get free access to the entire campsite incl. the pool area for DKK 80. per person.
In the pool area there is changing rooms, as well as sauna for females and men.
The pool has a max depth of 130 cm and has a poolområdet er der omklædningsrum, samt sauna til dame og herre. Poolen har en maks. dybde på 130 cm, samt et toddler pool area.
In addition, there are sun loungers, tables and chairs. Smoking and head diving are prohibited.
NOTE – The pool is not supervised by a lifeguard and bathing is therefore at your own risk.
To ensure that minors cannot enter the pool without adult supervision, the pool is enclosed. Dogs are not allowed in the pool area and the area is video monitored.
Mini zoo
Meet new friends of all kinds of species, including alpacas, goats, nandus, kangaroos, horses and deer. The mini zoo is a great place for the whole family.
You may pet and take pictures with and of the animals, but remember common sense and show respect towards the animals.
The animals must not be fed.
The animal park has free entrance and can be used freely by everyone who lives on the site. Dogs are not allowed.
CampJump
Our big trampoline park makes sure your kids are entertained for many hours.
CampJump is our outdoor trampoline park with a big bouncing castle and trampolines.
Definitely a main attraction at Kattegat Strand Camping
Please note, that there are no supervision at the trampolines, and therefore jumping is at your own risk.
Mini Golf
A game of mini golf is almost a must when camping. Do you already have a champion in the family, or should the mini golf champion be found on your next holiday at Kattegat Strand Camping?
At Kattegat Strand Camping we have a beautiful and challenging 12-hole mini golf course for all ages and levels – a classic camping activity for the whole family. The course was built with inspiration from the Mariagerfjord Golf Course, which is less than 30 minutes from the campsite.
If you stay at the campsite, you can play for DKK 50 per person (children under 5 are free when accompanied by an adult).
You will be given clubs, balls and scorecards at the reception.
If you are an outside guest the price is DKK 60 per person.
Football camp
We have a fun football camp with a skilled trainer three times a week during peak season. Boys and girls of all ages and skill-levels are welcome!

Horseback riding
Kattegat Strand Camping has made a collaboration with Sports Rideklubben Himmerland – a horseback riding center located 10 km from the campsite.
As a guest, you have the opportunity to book various types of horseback riding through us.
Sports Riding Club Himmerland offers the following:
Horseback riding: Horseback riding in the forest, riding in a riding house, riding on an outdoor track
Teaching: Dressage or Show Jumping
Stalling: It is possible to have your horse stabled in a box and paddock.
Mooncar
Everyone’s favourite vehicle! Rent them at the reception. .

1 or 2 person mooncar: DKK 30,- / hour
Family mooncar: DKK 90,-/ hour
Running and bike routes
The area around Kattegat Strand Camping offers a lot of beautiful nature, which we think you should enjoy. The best way to experience nature, is by foot or by bike. You will find links to both running and cycling routes here.
