Who is Kattegat Strand Camping
Kattegat Strand Camping is a family-run five-star campsite located in Øster Hurup, Northern Jutland. We offer something for everyone – from energetic families with children to seniors seeking nature and tranquility.
Children and the young at heart will have plenty to do with our large jumping area, the adventurous nature playground, and of course, our many activities. Our heated swimming pool and lovely, child-friendly sandy beach will surely bring out the water lover in you.
Nature enthusiasts will love our neighbor, the beautiful Lille Vildmose, as well as our charming animal park, home to species such as nandus, deer, kangaroos, and alpacas.
If you have a four-legged family member, they are of course also very welcome. We have an enclosed dog park, a dog wash, and dog waste bags available at all service buildings.
The campsite has 3 service buildings with free showers, toilets, and kitchen facilities. Additionally, there’s a family restaurant offering delicious meals at friendly prices. Our pizzeria serves crispy, tasty stone-baked pizzas, and the kiosk offers everything from fresh bread, sweet and savory snacks, to exciting local products.
Activities for the whole family
At Kattegat Strand Camping, we have a fantastic activity program running throughout the summer (July). The foam party on the beach in the evenings is pure magic! With music, happy children, and foam spraying all around, it creates an unforgettable experience full of fun, laughter, and summer memories.
You can also try our 12-hole mini golf course, a mini version of the beautiful Mariagerfjord golf course.
Camping, Cabins and Tipis
Whether you’re an experienced camper or don’t even know what a tent peg is, we have accommodation options for you. We offer everything from tent pitches to extra-large comfort pitches. Our lovely family cabins can accommodate up to six people, and our tipis will make your holiday truly unforgettable.
